Del means heart,
Ara means to shape
That is how I approach my work.
With heart and with intention.
The story
I'm Delara. My name comes from Persian and it has always felt like a quiet instruction. I grew up in my father's Persian carpet store, surrounded by patterns, structure, and stories woven into every piece. That early exposure to craftsmanship shaped how I see things. To this day, I am the person who immediately notices the carpet when I walk into a room. And yes, I always comment on it.
Design is not
decoration
Design for me is pattern recognition, behavior prediction, and emotion shaping. I am drawn to objects with longevity. Handbags, watches, well-made clothes. Things built with intention, not trend. I bring that same mentality to digital products.
What I do
I take products from research through to polished prototypes. Mobile apps, responsive web, design systems. Crypto wallets, citizen science tools, financial platforms. The kind of products where trust is everything and complexity has to disappear.
Experience
Education
Off the clock
I speak Persian, Bosnian, English, some German, and Turkish, so no one around me is safe to gossip. When I'm not designing, I'm running, doing pilates, online window shopping, or tracking what everyone is obsessed with and why half of it won't matter in six months.
A few moments,
between the pixels.
